Mom was not a fan of funerals or obituaries. So I felt it appropriate to do things a bit differently, In her honor.

Anyone who knew my Mom, knew her love of the written word, specifically a good book or poetry. The following poem was written to Mom by her partner John.

February 13, 2021

Sharon Grant, 74, of Arvada, Colorado passed away on February 13, 2021 surrounded by her children, Shannon and Derek Snyder and their spouses.

Sharon was born in Michigan and grew up near Chicago, Illinois with her siblings Paul, Chuck, Tom, Barbara, Pat, Marylin, Lois and their parents Joseph and Elsie Lucas. Sharon graduated from Thornton High School in Harvey, Illinois. Following a marriage and subsequent divorce, in the summer of 1982 Sharon, Derek and Shannon moved to San Antonio, Texas, where Sharon later met the love of her life, Don Grant.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Joseph James Mazotti on Tuesday, January 26, 2021.

Joe was born March 10, 1961 and was approaching his 60th birthday.

His death is preceded by Mother Yahime Mazotti and Father Joseph James Mazotti Sr. Beloved Father and best friend of Kaitlin Yahime Mazotti (Daughter). Ex-husband and good friend of Deborah Maldonado.

Nick was a sweet and gentle soul with a kind heart, always willing to help people. He loved music -he had a passion and talent for playing guitar. His dream was to Quit Work Play Music. He played in the “Gunny Grand Strings Band” with friends in G.J.
